A lot of webslinger news this week, about Venom, Homecoming and more! Plus She-Hulk, Preacher and everything else! Come in and check it all out!

While making the press rounds for their upcoming movie Spider-Man Homecoming, Sony producer Amy Pascal revealed in an interview with Filmstarts.de that the upcoming Venom movie, and the other Spider character spin offs will, in fact, be part of the same universe than the Spidey we see in Homecoming! Check it out above!
This is unexpected since MCU and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige only recently said that Venom WON'T be part of the MCU! To be fair, as co-producer of Homecoming he is sitting next to Amy while she made those statements and he looks kinda surprised or unenthused by her comments... so maybe it was news to him as well, which would mean nothing is for certain yet, or (more likely) it only means the Spidey spin offs might feature Tom Hollands Peter in them, and they might show up in his movies, but they won't be seen outside of Spider-Movies in the MCU.
Either way, knowing that the Tom Hardy led Venom WILL tie into Spider-Man and that he will face Holland's webhead in the future, makes me a LOT more excited for Venom overall. I don't need to see Venom in Avengers 6, but seeing him fight Spidey is kinda of a must.
New Spider-Man Homecoming Trailer
While we are already talking Spider-Man Homecoming, lets check out a new trailer for the first foray of the ol' webhead into the shared Marvel universe of the MCU!
Meanwhile the first reactions to a Homecoming screening has been released online on Twitter! According to that the movie is a success and the best Spidey movie since Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 and the only problem with it is the underwhelming villain (a recurring problem for Marvel movies).
Homecoming is only weeks away, so get ready for Spidey to finally enter the MCU for the first time since Civil War!
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Preacher Season 2 Sneak Peak
DC Comic/Vertigo series Preacher returns for its second season soon, on July 25th! Until then you can get a small sneak peak at what whacky and horrific thrills might be in store for you by checking out the featurette above, which is very worth a look!
Season 2 continues the Preacher Jesse Custer's mission to find god, who is apparently hiding somewhere in the good old US of A! His assassin/ex-girlfriend Tulip and best bud/romantic foil the Irish vampire Cassidy are of course part of the crew again, but a certain gunslinger will also finally show up to stop our heroes' journey dead in their tracks!
Boba Fett vs Star-Lord
A new episode of Superpower Beatdown has released recently and pits two of the coolest rogues in the galaxy against each other! That's right, it's Marvel's Star-Lord versus Star Wars' bounty hunter extraordinaire Boba Fett!
Check out how the fan voted fight goes down above and maybe look at some of the older videos as well, like Batman vs Darth Vader, Joker vs Deadpool, Superman vs Thor, or Wolverine vs Wonder Woman!
Doctor Who Director Wants She-Hulk
While Hulk fans will finally get more of their favorite green rage monster this October with Thor Ragnarok, which features the Gladiator Hulk version of Banner (Planet Hulk fans, what up?!), it is still not sure if we will ever get another MCU Hulk solo film, after the so-so Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton in 2008.
Rachel Talalay, director of Tank Girl and a lot of Doctor Who, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow episodes, recently talked to Vice and revealed she has a take on Bruce Banner's cousin Jennfier Walters, also knows as She-Hulk!
“The difference between She-Hulk and Hulk is that she loved being She-Hulk. She was the Tank Girl of earlier days in terms of being able to say what she wanted, and when she became She-Hulk, it was like an opening of the door to freedom, to be the person that you wish you could be. That you’re stopped from being as a woman. And that’s the version of She-Hulk that I would love to embrace.”
While I am not sure She-Hulk is high on Marvel's list of priorities, I feel it could be an interesting character to get a solo movie, especially now after Wonder Woman when Hollywood suddenly has a lot more faith in female led superhero movies!
