A new look at the Injustice 2 game, Jason Momoa talks Aquaman and keeping DC secrets, new looks at Logan and more!
Injustice 2 Trailer/ Robin Gameplay
Release a little while ago was the awesome Injustice 2 trailer, which we haven't featured yet. Check it out above!
It continues the story of the Injustice universe, where Superman took over the world, after the Joker detonated a nuke in Metropolis and Lois Lane was killed.
At the end of the first game the Superman from the main DC universe put Injustice Superman in his place and locked him up. Now it looks like evil Superman might escape his red sun prison in Injustice 2, maybe thanks to the influence of big bad Brainiac, who's influence is being felt in the trailer.
Very excited to see what will happen in the sequel. The gameplay looks great as well, so I am sure fighting game fans have a lot to look forward to.
There also has been a new video showing off the grown up Damian Wayne Robin in actual gameplay footage. Check it out below and see how he dismantles his father Batman!
Jason Momoa Talks Aquaman
When he was a guest on the Jimmy Kimmel show, DC Film's Aquaman, Jason Momoa talked a little bit about his role in the DC universe and for how long he had to keep quiet about it: for almost 5 years!
Check out the video above!
I am very excited to see what Momoa will do with the role of Arthur Curry. The small glimpses we have gotten from the JL trailer and the short BvS cameo make me pretty happy with his casting, as he seems like a perfect fit for the 90s Peter David version of the character.
Avengers Videogame Teased
After some teasing from the official Marvel social media accounts, it was revealed last week that Marvel will work together with Square Enix and Eidos Montreal (the makers of the new Deus Ex games, which I loooooooove) on an Avengers related game. Nothing really has been confirmed yet, not even what kind of game it will be, or when it will be released, but Marvel said we will hear more information about it in 2018. The game seems to be very early in development either way, but it is exciting to see Marvel finally taking video games for their franchises very seriously and getting into bed with talented people from that field. Can't wait to see what Eidos Montreal will come up with!
